As always there was a healthy entry in the GP Junior class, with a good fight for the lead between Dewald Brummer, Jordan Pepper and Jordan Williams.

In the pre-final Brummer was less than a nose ahead of Williams with Pepper just behind. Brummer went on to claim the overall win ahead Williams and Pepper.

Mathew Hodges looked set to take the Max Challenge, but his chain came off in the pre-final leaving Kyle Lawrence (Birel) to win after Lester left the door open on the penultimate lap.

Lester then drove a perfect race to win the final and take the day from Lawrence and Gennaro Bonafede (Birel). After starting the final from the back of the grid Hodges drove like a man possessed to finish second but he was still a lowly ninth for the day.

Trent Willliams (Sportstar CRG) missed Friday's practice, but he still won the Junior Max class once again. He was pushed hard by Kevin de Witt (PCR) who was often in the lead. Tasmin Pepper did well to take third for Birel ahead of Devin Robertson (CRG), Jonathan Wilcox (Birel) and Mandla Mdakane (PCR).

Mini Max saw PCR's Caleb Williams win fairly easily, but there was an almighty scrap behind him as Richard Napier headed fellow Birel drivers Olivier Calkoen and Axcil Jefferies. There was also an impressive performance from CRG's Thabiso Ngcobo who took fifth.

Steve Ridgway had to work hard for the Max 175 win as pre-final winner Derick Smalberger pushed him hard. Third went to the ever-consistent Kevin Hodgkiss with veteran racer Errol Burgin fourth ahead of Donald Agnew and Gary Marais.

Deon Auby (Birel) was on a roll in the 125GP class, taking a convincing win ahead of Monza drivers Michael Murphy and Rob Bakewell who fought hard for the runner-up spot. Clint Jones, Tony Bartman and local ace Heath Bent made up the minor placings.

Driving the new DD2 spec Rotax RM1, Marc Murray scooped the DD2 class despite a costly off road excursion in the pre-final when a back-marker spun in front of him. He won the final to take the win from Michael van Rooyen (RM1) and Rocky Gush (RM1).

With poor entries, Rok and 100 Stocks were bundled together and Julene Wood (TonyKart) won the day ahead of Ratang Mosikare and Sebastian Bergman while Andre Laas took the 100cc class from Willem van Heerden, the pair embarrassing a Rok contender or two.

Despite a spin or two Clayton Herbst won the 50cc Cadettes from Sheldon van der Linde and Liam Pienaar.
