Maputo in March

2nd KARTING CHALLENGE TOUR TO MOZAMBIQUE - MARCH 2004 - INVITATION

The first 2004 trip to Mozambique is set for the long weekend in March - the 19th to the 22nd. From those that have done it before, it's a four hour drive so the plan is to drive up on Friday (19th) around lunchtime, Race on Saturday (20th) and Sunday (21st) and drive back on Monday (22nd - the Public Holiday) after breakfast, arriving home just after lunch.

The costs.............

Race Entry + MSA Insurance +/- R200
Visa +/- R100
Toll roads +/- R100 each way
3rd Party Insurance +/- R100

Petrol - +/- 450km - 45 litres @R4/litre is +/- R180 each way = +/-R360

Accommodation is USD70 (+/- R525 per room per night including breakfast - this sleeps 4) at the Holiday Inn

- if you share with friends, accomodation will cost +/- R420 for the 3 nights.

So the cost will be around R1500 - The only other cost is your race fuel & oil and then your food and booze.
